The Belleville Douglas Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a dedicated group of parents, teachers, caregivers, and community members committed to supporting the success, health, and well-being of every student at our school.

We are a proud unit of the National PTA, the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the country, united under the mission to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Through our partnership with National PTA and Illinois PTA, we bring proven resources, programs, and advocacy efforts to our local school community.

Our PTA serves as a bridge between families, teachers, and school staff — building strong relationships, enhancing the educational experience, and supporting initiatives that enrich students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. We host family-friendly events, support classroom needs, and advocate for policies that improve learning environments and opportunities for every child.
